Adrenaline Combo includes: AMA Extreme Canopy Tour 7 cables, Visit to Maleku Village, horseback riding and one rappel.
AMA Extreme Canopy Tour
- Your day will begin with a quick safety briefing, followed by a 20 minute tractor ride, to the Pino Blanco Waterfall lookout.
- Begin the tour with an adrenaline filled climb up a 18 meter high tower (54 feet) to fly over a 120 meter (360 feet) high canyon - the highest place in the park.
- We will find ourselves ready to begin the first canopy zip line cables, 7 zip line cables; including the longest cable in the park, and flying at speeds of up to 70 Km/h (43 mph).
- You will cross a hanging bridge to Arenal Mundo Aventura’s longest cable – 980 meters (0.6 miles) high above the la Fortuna Waterfall with great views of downtown Fortuna.
Rappel
- Arenal Mundo Aventura rappel is an 80 meter (262 ft.) descent alongside the Pino Blanco Waterfall.
- The second adventure part begin on a 340 meter (1246 ft.) long zip line cable which begins at an 18 meter (59 ft.) high tower and then crosses the spectacular canyon to a platform anchored in the middle of the splendid tropical rainforest with all of its magnificent biodiversity.
- You will descend 30 meters (98 ft.) in free fall, then rappel the final 50 meters (164 ft.) along a lush green canyon wall.
- After the descending, you climb back up on a perpendicular cable ladder, followed by another zip line cable to the Pino Blanco lookout point.
- Once we return, we will visit the Maleku Indian Cultural Rescue Center, to learn about their traditions and cultural roots, as well as how we can help to protect this, one of the smallest ethnic groups found in Costa Rica.
Visit to Maleku Cultural Rescue Center
You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the Maleku indigenous culture, their language, and traditions.
The Indigenous Cultural Rescue Project offers visitors a chance to experience Maleku culture firsthand, from their language and food to medicinal plants, ceremonies, and rituals. This project positively impacts over 30 families, ensuring the preservation of their heritage.
Horseback Riding
At the end of the combo tour, you will embark on a relaxing 20-minute horseback ride, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you make your way back to the meeting point, where the tour will conclude.
